This was one of our favorite stays in New Zealand, Allan was such a nice host and made us feel very well looked after and gave us plenty of great recommendation about the activities we can do as well as the best places to eat. The cedar hot tub was amazing after we did the Tongariro Alpine Crossing, the best way to end a very long but beautiful hike. The room was very nice and clean and made us feel like home. If we come back to Turangi we'll definitely stay here again.

we stayed in the self-service cottage, it is a very clean, comfortable house with artistic decorations, and high-quality furniture. This is the house with the most tableware I've ever seen. It is beside the Tongariro river trail. just walk to fly fishing. the another highlight is the cedar spa pool.

The new owners of the historic 76 year old Oasis Motel Tokaanu have in the 12 months from July 2021 extensively renovated all rooms adding kids playground, chlorinated pool, gymnasium and guests...

The hot water pools were a real bonus. Jo, one half of the ownership team is one of the most friendly and helpful people I have met and in New Zealand that is saying something.

The spa was nice, the cabin was warm and I liked the trees (from my 9 year old).

Located between the start and finish points of the Tongariro Alpine Crossing, Tongariro Holiday Park features a hot tub, barbecue facilities and rooms with either a balcony or a patio.

Such a great little find, a cute holiday park really close to the Tongariro Alpine Crossing hike. Greg the owner, did everything possible to make sure our stay was comfortable by providing so much information about the area, and particularly the hike and what to expect. He also drove the shuttle bus to the start of the hike which was great and once again explained to the group everything necessary. We felt he really made a huge difference to our visit as we felt someone was there looking after us.
