Tony & Jill were wonderful and welcoming hosts who couldn’t do enough for us. Tony helped carry our suitcase from the car to the studio at the back of the property. The pool and Jacuzzi were a fabulous added bonus. The icing on the cake was the G&T our hosts gave us by the poolside. Outstanding! At the same time we had privacy as the studio is completely seperate from the main house. The Studio is in a wonderfully landscaped garden with a wide range of plants & trees. The accommodation is “compact and bijou”, but has everything you might need. Very cleverly designed. There is outside seating areas with a small table and two chairs to sit & watch tv. At the end of the stay our hosts said we could check out later if we wished. Very relaxed family oriented hosts, who gave us great information about the town, and where to eat and visit etc. Small continental breakfast that was very tasty. We were also given a lovely homemade slice, to have with a cuppa when we arrived as well. 😋 Highly recommended!

The property was excellent. In a quiet location, nice views to watch sunset. Everything you could possibly need was thought about carefully, clean and wonderfully presented. And a great price. Shame we were only there for one night. Didn't get a chance to use the hot tub.

Alan and Lois are superb hosts, They made us feel at ease immediately and we always felt relaxed in their company. You could tell they just wanted us to enjoy ourselves during our stay and made us feel more than welcome. The accommodation was clean, well appointed and luxurious. It is truly one of the best accommodations we have experienced in our 6 trips to NZ. Breakfast was an absolute delight with fresh homemade waffles and fine china. We loved their little pet bantam, Buttercup. She was almost as sweet as our hosts whose genuine consideration, humour and attention to detail made our stay very memorable. Awesome!!! Great spot. Awesome hosts. Great communication. Super friendly. Great spot to base from with family. Very farm orientated. Horses and calf were great for grandson.
