Staff at check in amazing and very helpful. Thank you Duarte for all his help with recommendations for local eating places. Great location and easy walking distance into old town. Breakfast was a highlight.

This is hands down the best resort I've been to in Portugal. Wonderful middle of nowhere, super calm, with breathtaking views. It offers amazing opportunities to relax both by the pool and on the terrace, as well as through activities (I have no experience horse riding, but I've been just fine with the hikes, canoeing, and cycling). The staff is extremely welcoming and helpful. Also, I loved how everything is available 24/7, just trusting guests to do the right thing. The 'Honesty Bar' is a fantastic idea, and since I'm more of a night creature, I also had a great time relaxing in the sauna at midnight on my own, with a panoramic view of the night sky :-)
