Nice and very well placed. Sr. Joao is a very nice and kindly person. The location is a must and the house is enough big for mire than 4 persons. I totally recommend!!

This was a really nice hotel. Our room was large and comfortable. We used the indoor pool and hot tub which were nice though closes at 8pm. The restaurant was a bit overpriced and did not have many non-seafood options but the food was good and the atmosphere was elegant.

It was one of the most unique and original places we stayed in Azores. The house was big with the kitchen that had everything you need and even a washing machine with detergent! I especially liked to see that they have a green key award:)

We very much enjoyed the beautiful location; it was magnificent. The accommodation was spotless. Access to the jacuzzi and the pool is perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. A perfect place!

From the first WhatsApp msg I got from the property manger (Debora), until we checked out two days after we were completely blown away from the place, its location (between a volcano and the most beautiful sunsets ever), the hospitality and level of careness, all the extra tourist info we received from Debora and the prime facility itself, this is by far the highest quality of accommodations I found through Booking. We had the perfect stay at Casas do Amarelo — it was exactly what we needed for a week on Pico Island! The view of the ocean while having dinner was simply stunning. The kitchen was well-equipped for a week’s stay, and the hot tub was an absolute highlight — especially after hiking Mount Pico in snow and rain! It felt like pure luxury to relax there after such an adventure. The house is beautifully furnished and decorated with such great taste — every detail has been thought through. It’s quiet, peaceful, and ideally located: there’s a supermarket just around the corner, a lovely swimming spot nearby, and plenty of scenic walking trails in the area.
