Beautiful villas in a lovely well maintained garden. The pool is very clean and refreshing. The queen bed is comfortable even for us old Australians. It's nice to have a separate comfortable lounge with fan and bedroom has air-conditioning that works well. The check-in and out process is very easy and all the staff were very friendly and helpful.

The Houben exceeded our expectations in every way possible. From seamlessly coordinated day trips to flawless pier and door-to-door hotel transfers, every detail was thoughtfully arranged. The culinary experience was exceptional, with a highlight being the unforgettable romantic sunset dinner, ranking among our top 5 meals ever. The attentive staff consistently greeted us warmly and ensured our every need was met. The breathtaking views, refreshing pool, and serene, clean rooms provided the perfect retreat after adventurous days exploring. The hotel is about 30 minutes from the Saladan pier and is conveniently situated within walking distance of restaurants, bars, spas, and even a 7-11. We wholeheartedly recommend The Houben for an unforgettable getaway.

Location was fantastic and the rooms were awesome. Lovely beachfront and everything was smooth and perfect. The white cat was a lovely resident. So so so quiet which was perfect - no crowds, no lines and no hustle. Just peace and quiet.

Great location between main road and beach, not far to walk neither to the beach nor to Ban Saladan. Very nice staff, especially Fa who instead of explaining me the way to somewhere, took her motorbike without hesitation and has driven me to the desired place. She is lovely and welcoming.

had a family room on the second floor (corner room with private balcony, room me 6) as I wished for the quietest room. and it was! no noice from the pool or the street. we stayed for 10 days with our 10 month old and the room was spacious. the baby monitor reached to the restaurant downstairs and my partner and I could have a drink in the bar or read a book by the pool whilst the little one was taking naps. extra plus that you get unlimited refills on water everyday in the bar! and Alice is a superstar!

We booked last-minute and got the very last bungalow in row which was more spacious than other ones. Meaning we were closest house to the way to the beach. Bed was very comfy and bathroom was pretty. Swimming pool was lovely. Staff super friendly. Very nice restaurants just across the street. We would definitely come back again!

    Lovely bungalows. Very spacious, clean and large bathroom. Quiet area of the beach right at the front of the resort. Sun loungers and beach towels provided. Only 10 minute drive from the ferry port. There’s plenty of restaurants just at the beach front and a mini mart close by too.
