We loved this place very much, the grounds are beautiful, the natural style of architecture and decor is completely welcoming and a pleasure to call home for 3 nights. I loved the greenery and established trees around the property, the pool area was serene and the guest welcome room was always stocked with treats, teas, games and tourist information. A thoughtfully hospitable place. Also love the mosaic green iguana water feature and all the artistic touches.

A good base for exploring Ojai while we were in town for a wedding. Decor was a little tired but the room was spacious & the beds were comfy. Staff were very friendly & helpful.

The location was close to everything

Created from a 1940s Spanish-style firehouse and clocktower, this Clocktower Inn Ventura features original art, beamed ceilings and a large fireplace.

The Clocktower has a variety of rooms. Their photos are accurate so choose your favourite. We wanted a large room with lots of windows and found it as pictured. It had hardwood floors and deep granite window sills, a Spanish Colonial vibe and great comfy beds with crisp white linens. For picky people, the cheap remote with Scotch tape repair and peeling non-stick in the bath tub might be occasions for a tantrum, but for us, the great draperies over the truly impressive expanse of graceful mullioned windows and sense of serenity and care about the place are what we noticed and appreciated, hence the exceptional rating. It is an exceptional place and one we will long remember as one of our favorite places.
