The serenity. The property is just absolutely beautiful and calming. The people there were so kind, lovely and accommodating. The facilities were beautiful and extremely clean. I had everything I needed to disconnect from stress and connect with myself, nature and my new found friends.

Our host Houston was super friendly, kind and knowledgeable about the local area. A very special place to stay - close to the beach, very remote, sleep with the sound of nature and a lovely hot tub to boot.

What a beautiful place, thank you for sharing it with other people! We‘ve enjoyed our stay to the max. Everything has been perfect and uncomplicated, from the first contact until the end of our stay. Stunning views of sunrise and sunset right above the cliffs, usage of the pool and jacuzzi at any time. The room is equipped with a microwave, a little fridge and a coffee machine. You don‘t hear much more than the surf and the animals. The Wild Blue Water is definitely a recommendation and worth a visit!

Situated on the side of the house- a very spacious, spotless clean bedroom and huge bathroom. Coffee and tea provided, limited cooking, we ate when out exploring the area. Shops and restaurants about 15min drive away.

My wife and I are a recently retired European couple. We rented a car and drove down to Wild Blue Water, staying 3 nights in November 2023. The owner was very welcoming and accommodating about our arrival time. The guest bedroom in their house is very clean and has a dedicated bathroom adjacent to it in the corridor. The corridor is screened from the owner's own kitchen/lounge area by a curtain. The bed was comfortable.

Pahoa is at a walkable distance, I do strongly recommend hiring a car to go to the beach/volcano. The sauna/hot tub area was really nice and readily available for use. The owner is very engaged in developping the property with organic farming and interested in feedback. A group of long-stay hippie style volunteers works and learns here. They all seemed content. Never heard so many birds at night, truly a phenomenon. On some days there is a possibility to join extatic dance or soundbaths on the premise.

The accommodation was great. Loved the garden room with the sounds of nature. Accommodation was clean and comfortable, and the hot tub was a great relaxer at the end of a busy day. Accommodation was close to the volcanoe park and in a great, friendly community close to the beach. Travel was necessary to other parts of the island, which is a normal expectation when visiting Big Island.
