Everything. The whole experience has made me want to book another trip, just to go and stay there again. I'm not surprised it is so popular with travellers, I imagine it hasn't lost one bit of charm or service since it opened in the early part of the last century.

The location is perfect with access to restaurants, shopping and freeways really convenient. The apartment was very nice and furnished to a high standard, two bathrooms and a well fitted kitchen.free secure covered parking for two cars. Distance from parking to apartment is less than 40 yards. The highlight is the swimming pool on the roof, which the 9 year old we had with us enjoyed every single day. Access to attractions like Universal Studios and Theme park only 15 minutes away by car. Plus The Griffiths Observatory & Griffiths park only 30 minutes or so away. Slightly further away are Venice Beach & Santa Monica pier, but well worth the journeys. There are some very good shops within 5 minutes walk including a Nordstrom store and a Trader Joes. Disneyland is approximately between 1 to 1.5 hours depending on the traffic. Shopping Gallerias are plentiful including Glendale and Northridge both within short driving distances. My daughter lives in North Hollywood and this was the perfect place to stay whilst visiting. Not cheap, but you get what you pay for and I would not hesitate to book again. Minor observations are that there were no instrucions in apartment for the A/C, oven etc and it would have been nice to have an air fryer available to use. Most holiday lets also do a booklet outlining how to operate everything plus guides on where to visit etc. This is something which I think the owners might well address going forward. Overall I would give this apartment a 9/10 marking.

We had an amazing stay at this property - it's in a great location close to several iconic West Hollywood bars, and if you're up for it you can even walk all the way along sunset boulevard to the main part of Hollywood (took us about an hour). The area felt safe, and the property itself was quiet and secluded. The outdoor area is shared with apartment 1 but we rarely saw the people staying there over our 4 days and basically had it to ourselves, which was great. The on-street parking was very convenient. As for the property itself - wow! We were in apartment 2. It was small but comfortable, with a big comfy bed and nice bathroom. Microwave, fridge, toaster and kettle were great to have, and the Nespresso machine was a lifesaver for those early mornings. The real star of this property though is the outdoor patio area which is simply stunning. It's a good size with an amazing jacuzzi which we used each of our 4 days there, it heated up within about 30 mins and a useful "how to" video is provided by the host Daniel (who was helpful and responsive when needed before and during our stay). We ate breakfast each morning at the outdoor dining table with the hummingbirds buzzing around, and had dinner a couple of times in the evenings by the roaring fireplace. The views from the property over the city are incredible - we took too many photos to count at all times of day! If we ever come back to LA we would definitely stay again!

Location is very private in a nice residential area. Newly renovated to a high standard with well equipped spacious open plan kitchen and living area, large bedroom, washing machine and dryer and truly great host who is there when you need him but otherwise leaves you to do your own thing. One example of the kind of guy he is however is that when my rental car had a flat battery he called his own breakdown recovery service and kept me posted on progress - truly above and beyond service - thank you!!

What was not to like about this hotel?? It was perfect, the rooms were perfect, the size was perfect, our view of Universal Studios Hollywood was perfect, the bed was perfect and so comfortable. This hotel was so good and a nice walk to Universal Studios Hollywood from the hotel. My wife and I were on our Honeymoon and this was such a great time. Whenever we go to Hollywood again we will most definitely stay here again.
