Amazing view across the valley and wonderfully appointed property with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. Communications were good and we really enjoyed the large lasagne and salad we had asked for on our arrival. Enjoyed a delicious breakfast in the morning at the restaurant across the road.

I've been to quite a few self catering places this year and nothing compares to River Edge. The finer details, like arriving and the hot tub is already warm, welcome gin and tonic with a lemon, enough towels for bathing and swimming. Air fryer. Fire lighters, filter coffee.... to name a few It was the best office to work at during our mid week stay. Will recommend to families and couples

    Magnificent views of natural fynbos, rolling farmland and mountains, all around (including from the indoor bath and outdoor hot tub). Love how the house opens up and window views give you a peak of what’s outside from all angles. Breathtaking. The bed was super comfy too.

    The room was very clean and well appointed. It has all the amenities required for a comfortable stay. The hot tub was a nice addition. The gardens on the property are beautiful and well maintained and add to the relaxed experience.

    Everything was amazing. Location is great for visiting wine farms in the area. The views are amazing. Sitting on the patio or in the hot tub, watching the sunset. Spacious accommodation with all the benefits. Cannot fault this property in anyway.

    Wonderful modern spacious accommodation with fantastic views and a hot tub to enjoy the sun sets. Close to top notch wine estates.. Stayed with family visiting from UK and they were equally blown away. Highly recommend.

    Wow! We loved the fact that it is quite secluded, beautiful and quiet. The unit is modern and minimalistic but tastefully done. A lovely, spacious bathroom; big, comfortable bed with a beautiful view from the bed. With the current heat, we spent a lot of time in the tub on the deck outside. Absolute bliss. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The food and service at Opstal restaurant were also of superior quality. We will definitely be back.

    What did we not like. This is honestly a piece of heaven 🌄 ... This unit is just perfect. Extremely clean, amazing comfy beds, nice big bath to relax and enjoy a view, and the hot tub is just next level. 🌞 We really enjoyed it so much to stay here. We even received a nice welcome gift which makes you feel right at home. We will definetly be back ☕️

    We loved the daily cleaning, the indoor pools were amazing, the new layout of the rondawels (which included the braai, kitchen, lounge, bathroom and bedroom) was really comfortable and couples retreat from the Ontspan spa was well worth it. There was a cute shop for any emergency shopping like meat or canned or frozen vegetables so we didn't need to leave the resortto get any extra things. The restaurant was also very nice, friendly and great menu.
