The accommodation features antique furniture and modern amenities. Each individually designed room offers a marble bathroom with heated towel rails, a mini bar, and tea and coffee making facilities. Some rooms include spectacular water views, and a spa bath. We particularly loved the spectacular view from our room and that Grande Vue was so close to the city. Battery Point itself, the part of Hobart where Grand Vue is located, is a beautiful area with historic houses, so definitely worth seeing. There was home made cake you could help yourself to in the afternoon and the owner Ash was a lovely and caring person. Parking wasn’t an issue either as it’s possible to get a resident parking permit.
