The space was decorated impeccably, the breakfast was amazing and the staff were even better. This was the first stop on a longer trip and we wished we could have stayed for longer. It is “far” relative to other hotels, but that’s only if you are picking on the one small thing. Still very easy to walk to the main streets of San Pedro. I recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to the Atacama Desert.

I would definitely recommend it to my family and friends.

At Sami Atacama guests are welcome to take advantage of a hot tub. The property is out of the way but beautiful, the staff make it exceptional. After coming from a hostel where the staff didn’t want to help us at all, the staff here organised a taxi to come and collect us, let us check in early and even had a bottle of wine waiting in our room for us. We enjoyed the pool and the many animals wandering around. We left early in the morning to go to the salt flats and they organised a little packed breakfast to take with us and gave us hot water for tea in the morning. Bed was super comfy and the room was spotless. 1000% recommend.

I stayed in one of the bungalows “Kimal Pueblo” and absolutely loved it, peaceful, charming, and very comfortable. It was the perfect place to relax after long days exploring the desert. The service throughout the hotel was excellent. Every member of the staff was warm, attentive, and professional. One detail I especially appreciated was that at the end of the day, the cleaning lady would quietly pass by the room, prepare the bed for my return, and turn on the bedside lamps, such a thoughtful touch that made coming back feel so cozy and welcoming. The room itself was spotlessly clean, and the spa and hotel facilities were fantastic. The restaurant was also excellent, with delicious food and amazing service every time. I highly recommend Hotel Kimal for anyone visiting the Atacama Desert. I would definitely stay here again!
