And the plentiful breakfast was brought to our door every morning. It was our base to explore the lake and the countryside.

This hotel is a gem for many, many reasons. If you care about your impact on the environment as a tourist, if you have young kids, if you are a dog lover, if you want a relaxed atmosphere - this is your place. The building has been constructed with attention to detail and a focus on reusing materials, rainwater is collected, local produce is cooked (by the wonderful Fernando) and from the moment you arrive, the warmth and friendliness of Victoria envelopes you. There were two families with young children staying when we were there and it was wonderful to see how relaxed they were as their kids pottered around the garden and petted the hotel dogs. This was a highlight of our 6 week trip in Chile and is highly recommended. Also, the breakfast is great!

Comfortable and firm beds, great water pressure, well-equipped kitchen. We stayed in two different cabins — one had a washing machine which was very handy.

The cabin itself was stylish and airy. We loved using the grill and the hot tub as well. The staff were lovely, attentive, and very helpful. We ordered the breakfast one morning and it was delicious, with plenty for leftovers. This was an exceptional experience!

We made a last-minute reservation due to a delayed ferry. The host was fantastic and the cabaña was very clean, quiet and well appointed. Would definitely stay there again.

Set on the shores of Llanquihue lake and boasting stunning lake and volcano views, the recently-built Hotel AWA offers luxurious accommodation with free WiFi access in Puerto Varas. Very much enjoyed the Awa. We were in a suite which was very comfortable and spacious. There were a few things that were not functional (the blinds) that needed to be fixed. Otherwise, the half board option was appropriate (same menu all the time for breakfast, lunch and dinner). We also had massages which were good. I’d recommend to others.
