Most of the Grandezza Hotel Luxury Palace's spacious, air-conditioned rooms overlook the town square, the Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul, and Spilberk Castle. They are luxuriously decorated and feature a flat-screen satellite TV and a seating area. The bathrooms include bathrobes. The hotel is in a great location in Brno old town, facing the “vegetable market” square and with views up to the Cathedral. It is close to the major historical sites that are in easy walking distance, including the Castle and busier main square. Plenty of cafes, bars and restaurants and shops nearby. The reception staff were very welcoming and helpful. We were fortunate to have been offered a room upgrade to a suite, which was much appreciated. The room was large and airy, well equipped and tastefully furnished with good open views of the square. The breakfast buffet was extensive with plenty of cold and hot food selections available, including barista coffee to order. The staff were very also attentive. Overall, a very enjoyable stay that we would be happy to repeat.

Surroundings: The location is fantastic, with easy access to the Baťa Canal Prístav, a nearby park and Veselí nad Moravou swimming pools. Food: Breakfast was reserved at Bistro Dog in Dock, located next to the Baťa Canal. The food was delicious and of high quality, making for a great start to the day. Staff: The staff were friendly and helpful, adding to the overall positive experience. Additional Amenities: The online check-in process was smooth and hassle-free. There are free parking areas marked with signs for guests only, but be cautious as there is also a paid parking space nearby. The Wi-Fi worked well. I was there with my mum, as I take her on holidays every year to spend quality time together and overall, it really felt like home away from home.
