Breakfast was a highlight, masterfully prepared by Eleftheria, who curated a vast and delicious spread featuring the region’s specialties. Each morning, we were treated to an array of local delicacies, from fresh pastries to savory treats, all bursting with authentic Maniot flavors. It was a culinary experience that showcased the area’s rich heritage. The location of Armantanis Luxury Suites is ideal, just a 2-minute drive or a leisurely 12-minute walk from the charming town of Areopolis. Kastro Maini is located in the heart of the historic Areopolis, in central Mani. The traditional stone-built building features a pool with hydromassage and a pool for children.

Accommodation at Kastro Maini consists of well-furnished, spacious rooms with traditional iron beds. The private balconies have view to the gulf of Messiniakos or to the southern part of the Mount of Taygetos, called Sagias. Nice pool with bar that we used every morning as it was too hot to drive to the beaches. Only 5 min walk to the center of Areopolis. Very clean. Strongly recommended.

They include a kitchenette equipped with a mini fridge. There is a lovely outdoor pool for guests to enjoy a refreshing dip. Room with spacy balkony. Large room nicely equiped. Great breakfast. Pool clean and in operation in mid April (20 degrees C). - We forgott some items in the closet. The hotel sent it to us wth courier service without charge!!
