The owner of the house is an amazing person and he is always there to help you. He accepted early check in and late check out because of our ferry. He saved our day with his kindness. You can reach easily to Kokkari, Karlovasi, etc by your own car since the house is like in the middle of a junction point.

The first thing I must say is that Ethos is better in reality than in photos. Especially the back garden (with the hot tube) is far better in reality than described. The property has a minimal design but you can see that everything was chosen with attention to details and with good sense of decoration. Elena - the owner- is very kind and eager to help. We had a problem with the shower water and in no time she came and solved it. The property is very clean (there is also a lady that cleans and change towels daily). The location is great! It is like 20m from the sea so we could enjoy our afternoon sea bath in front of the house and have dinner in one of the restaurant exactly near us. Also, we were really lucky cause during the week we were in Samos some of musical festivals were taking place:the classical music festival in the Ancient Theater of Pythagoreio, and the music festival in Ireon (it’s only 5 min distance from the house!). The truth is that we should have stayed more days in Samos.

The rented part of the villa has two floors and there is air-conditioning in the living room downstairs and in one of the bedrooms upstairs. The rest of the bedrooms have fans. In the summer, the hosts live on the ground floor below the rented part but they move up for the winter. Reaching the villa is easy from the Samos-Karlovasi road (the word WELCOME is painted at the beginning of the approach) but the approach is very steep and it is best to have either a short car or a jeep. Long cars may have some trouble negotiating the tight curves and the incline. The kitchen is well equipped and we got some juice, water, butter and olive oil from our host for our first breakfast. While we used our rental car most days, we did walk to the nearby village of Agios Konstantinos on our last night which took just over 10 minutes by foot. There are 3 restaurants that we used here: Balkoni, Aiolos and Fergatos. All were good but don't try the first two withour reservation in the summer, especially not on Saturday night! We also visited the taverna in Ampelos (the mountain village above the villa) twice as we liked it very much. A small store is available in Agios Konstantinos but on our first day we went shopping to one of the bigger stores in Karlovasi. For beaches, we used Kokkari, Psili Ammos on the south-eastern tip of the island and nearby Tsabou. This was very nice but we had big waves. There are many other beaches but we didn't have time to see them. The island is pretty small and in 40 minutes you can get to almost everywhere from this villa by car. The kids liked the dogs and the kittens. On a clear day, Turkey is visable and there are millions of stars in the sky. The nights were unexpectedly quiet!

Houses at Grand View come with a separate bedroom, a fully equipped kitchen with dining area, living room with fireplace and furnished balconies. Towels and bed linen are available. The property was big and comfortable, also very clean. Sofa bed was also comfortable. It has a great view and close to all attractions. Drive was 10-20min to everywhere. There is a nice pool area. Also very clean. The owner was very nice. He showed us all the house and made recommendations regarding attractions and restaurants. Also very helpful with early checkin and late checkout.
