Offering an outdoor pool and a restaurant, Bolontiku Boutique Hotel Member of the Cayuga Collection is located 15 minutes by boat from Flores Island. What a wonderful stay we had. In the middle of a forest ("jungle" we may say), so quiet, peaceful and relaxing. Quite luxurious speedboat transferring us from Flores and back. Good kitchen and first of all excellent staff, so helpful and with unusual friendly attitude. I strongly recommend this hotel to everyone, who wants to feel one of the best possible vibes.

This charming hotel is located in northern Guatemala’s Petén Jungle, on the shores of Lake Petén. It offers fantastic trips to the Mayan Ruins of the Tikal National Park. The location in a natural reserve with a private beach is exceptional. The facilities are very well kept and staff go above and beyond to make your stay in the hotel and experience in Peten a trip to remember. Set on the edge of Lake Peten Itza, facing Flores Island, Hotel Casona del Lago offers an outdoor pool and hot tub. It also features free Wi-Fi and free parking. Beautiful hotel and pool. There were comfortable lounge chairs around the pool. Everything was clean and well maintained. Breakfast was excellent.

The room was very clean and super comfortable. The atmosphere here was really nice although a bit sad that the water in the whole area is taking over . At the check out we had a little trouble with the included breakfast via booking.com but in the end, after a short call with the manager the owner talked to the staff of the hotel and made everything clear. It's been a very nice place and we would always recommend to others! 😀
