Located directly by the beach, the Hotel Plaza on the island of Pag offers an a-la carte restaurant and a swimming pool overlooking the beach. This was a little gem that we discovered. It had a wonderful pool that overlooked the bay. The room was comfortable and very clean.

Completely renovated in 2018 and enjoying a prime location in the centre of Opatija, Hotel Imperial - by Liburnia Hotels & Villas is just steps away from Slatina beach. Beautiful hotel, you have a feeling as if you are in Vienna, for a very affordable price and with a sea view :)

Set just above the coastline promenade in Opatija, the impressive Hotel Ambasador - by Liburnia Hotels & Villas provides free access to its Wellness & Spa Centre, which has swimming pools, a fitness... If I could sum it up in one sentence – this was the best vacation of my life. The hotel provides a level of service that always exceeds expectations. The rooms are thoughtfully designed, with excellent soundproofing, all the essentials you might need, and an efficient air-conditioning system. Food deserves special thanks to the hotel team. The selection is outstanding, catering to every taste – everything is incredibly fresh, from fruits to desserts. The spacious dining halls with sea views make every meal a delight. Room service could offer a slightly wider menu, but delivery is impressively fast. As for the staff – every single person is professional, attentive, and ready to help in any situation. A special thanks to the management for creating such a high standard of hospitality. Parking. The hotel has a large public parking area nearby, but since the street is narrow, spots fill up quickly. I recommend using the hotel’s underground parking. It is tight, so if you don’t have much driving experience, it’s best to let the staff park the car for you (they kindly do this free of charge). Beach. The location is breathtaking – right on the seafront, with a private beach, crystal-clear water, and amazing marine life for snorkeling. In addition to the private beach, there’s also a pool and access to several public beaches nearby. Infrastructure. Opatija itself is a gem – a charming blend of Austrian, Italian, and Croatian architecture. The city center is beautiful, perfect for strolling and relaxing, with plenty of seaside restaurants. There are also shops, a market, and supermarkets (though parking in town can be a challenge). Prices are, of course, on the “touristy” side. In summary: we will definitely return to this wonderful hotel, the beautiful city of Opatija, and Croatia.

The receptionist was exceptionally welcoming, and the room was both comfortable and thoughtfully decorated with lovely details that elevated the experience. The bed was wonderfully comfortable. Breakfast was exceptionally tasty and vibrant — simply perfect. The spa added the finishing touch to a comfortable stay: spotless, soothing, and beautifully arranged, with fruit and refreshments provided. I wholeheartedly recommend a visit.

Everything is new and modern. Perfect location, very nice beach. Breakfast is excellent. Excellent spa service. We got free upgrade of our room, we appreciate that very much. Staff is really helpfull and polite (especially senior staff, they are really professional)

Clean room, comfy bed, breakfast was excellent. Friendly helpful staff, also very nice pool for a swim.

What a nice surprise! A room that is actually roomy, moderńly furnished and apparently soundproof!!! Exceedingly friendly reception staff, too, and location couldn’t be better. For the money I spend for a single off-season stay it was absolute steal!
