I loved everything. Room was clean, very nice and big, beds were super comfy, bathroom was spacious. The breakfast had a great variety of options to start a day, swimming pool was nice and cozy, the pool bar was working - what more do you need ;) Parking in garage is great for the hot weather.

Casa Columba is a beautiful boutique hotel located right off of one of the most charming streets in Makarska. It’s an easy 5 minute walk from the main bus station, making it an easy spot to travel in and out of Makarska. While it’s tucked away in a quiet corner, it’s only a short walk to great restaurants, stores and beaches. The adults-only hotel is beautifully renovated, and very charming. The rooms are spacious, well appointed, masterfully decorated, exceptionally clean and incredibly comfortable. The host, Dino, clearly took a lot of pride in crafting an oasis with this entire space. He, Yan Yan, and Eddie were welcoming and kind, and as a solo traveler I felt both safe and incredibly comfortable. I have to call out Yan Yan in particular for being especially thoughtful, professional and warm. He really helped set a positive tone at the start of every day with exceptional service at breakfast and throughly the day with thoughtful suggestions and recommendations. I can’t say enough about how wonderful he was - his energy was a cherry on top of an already lovely stay. I look forward to recommending Casa Columba to friends and family, and returning again one day!

Featuring an outdoor swimming pool with sun loungers, Boutique Hotel Ani offers modern-style rooms with free WiFi. Guests can enjoy a wellness area including a sauna, hot tub and a gym. Our room was very modern, spacious, clean and well equiped with everything you need. Bathroom was also spacious, with good shower. Room had a big terrace with a view to the Biokovo and the sea. Hotel has a great parking garage underneath it, we felt our car was safe at all times, and covered with shade. Only donwside is that parking is not in the price of the stay (10e per day). Location is good, close to the beaches and about 15-20min walk to the old town. It is a bit uphill, but distance from the main bordwalk is short. There is also a supermarket across the road, which is very useful. Breakfast was also pretty good with enough options, but it is pretty much same every day, with some different options every morning - still, we enjoyed it every time. Staff was extremely polite and helpful and always available. Hotel has a great pool also, and lounge area and a bar. They have spa & gym which we didn't use.

Located 450 metres from a pebbly beach and 1.5 km from the centre of Makarska, Apartments Villa Katarina offers self-catering accommodation with free Wi-Fi access. I was very happy with all facilties. This must be the cleanest room I've stayed in this trip. Short way to beaches nearby.

Every single aspect of this hotel exceeded our expectations. Huge clean rooms fully packed with all utensils we might need, awesome food, the nicest staff, new clean furniture, big bathroom, love love love!!!
