Location was close to Thingvellir (25 min out) and also close to most north/western part of the island (30min) which was great to be closer to the ocean and other towns. The house was super cute and modern with heated floors (I think). The kitchen had all the extras you could need to cook or eat with a well-stocked pantry. There was also an outdoor seating are and jacuzzi which we didn't get to use but I imagine it would be nice to sit there. It was super windy outside so the noise is kind of scary but the house did not blow away in the end hahah. it was a great stay and very comfortable place!!!

The springs were magical and the restaurant (seafood soup!!) was delicious. Just when we thought it couldn’t get any better, we had the northern lights on New Year’s Eve. Thank you for a wonderful visit. Trip of a lifetime!

Hotel Vellir is a 3-star property situated on the outskirts of the capital city and only 36 km from the airport. 早朝のチェックインとなりましたが、特に問題はなし！且つ、朝食が美味しかったこと、道路からも近くに位置し非常に便利でした！

Located on Álftanes peninsula, this guest house offers cottage-style rooms with free WiFi , driftwood furniture and a flat-screen TV. Reykjavík city centre is 14 km away. Very nice place. Clean and comfortable. Will definitely recommend it
