Incredibly friendly staff and family-run business. We received a very warm welcome - being picked up by the hotel. The check-in was very thorough and we were told how to navigate the island - even being given bus tickets for free. It’s located on the hillside which makes for amazing views when taking a dip in the pool. The hotel also had a sauna and jacuzzi, and offered a lot of cozy places for sitting down, having a drink/coffee and was very accessible from two roads. I could not recommend this place enough! Hidden gem!

O’Vagnitiello, where do I start? If you’re thinking about booking this hotel, do yourself a favour and book it! My husband and I have travelled many places across the world and hands down this was our favourite resort we’ve stayed in. We stayed in May so the prices were reasonable and the weather was perfect for suntanning, swimming, and enjoying the thermal pools. When we arrived we were in aweh at how beautiful the property was. It is all ocean front up the cliff side which makes for easy access to the water and for stunning views. We payed for the room with the sea view/balcony and we are so glad we did. The breakfast was included delicious, they were kind enough to make us scrambled eggs as well. The staff were all extremely helpful and kind, we felt very cared for. The room was beautiful, clean, specious, and the bed/pillows were comfortable! Their restaurant food was very delicious, we ate there some nights and other nights we rented a scooter from the resort and explored the island or we walked up the hill into town. It’s not a long walk but some good hill walking to get used to. There is a really nice simple gym on the facility with a beautiful view as well. Staying at O’Vagnitiello felt very luxurious, having direct access to the thermal pools all day was so relaxing and conveniently steps from all the rooms. There were plenty of pools with different temperatures to choose from. The sauna, cold showers, ocean, paddle boards, and lounge chairs were also all there to add the the perfect experience. We are looking forward to visiting again one day!

Situated halfway between Casamicciola Terme and Ischia, 5 km from Baia di San Montano, Villa Araucaria features an outdoor pool and a bar. The Castiglione Thermal Baths are 10 minutes' walk away. If you want to stay in a nice place with stunning view and cosy swimming pool, Villa Araucaria is the best choice. Everywhere is clean and there is also a huge terrace. Lucia is a great host, she can offer you fruits and wine during the day and great breakfast in the morning. Carlo speaks fluently English, he knows everything about the island and he advice you very well. And he also explain you where the apartment is, because it is not so easy to find it. Featuring free WiFi throughout and surrounded by a botanical garden, Residence Villa Cristina is in Ischia, 1.3 km from Forio d'Ischia Harbour. It was a very good decision to stay for a holiday at Villa Cristina in these large beautiful apartments. My adult son had a separate bedroom and bathroom, my daughter and I also had a separate bathroom. Both rooms had access to a balcony overlooking the garden. The apartments also have a living room with a large table and a kitchen. Cleaning was done every day, which was very nice. The Villa itself is located in the middle of a luxurious garden, offering shade and coolness, and the pool was wonderful, always clean and well-maintained, and we often spent time here after a hot day at the beach. We were at a different beach every day, Massimo kindly told us about all the routes and also helped us book sun loungers in advance. The greatest value of this villa is its owners. Massimo from the first minutes surrounded us with care, and we felt very comfortable and protected, as if we were not just guests but dear friends. Massimo and his parents are incredibly kind people, we got peace and real relaxation while vacationing in their house. The breakfasts were delicious and filling, and Massimo's dinners with three courses of food and house wine were beyond praise. Massimo prepared seafood, fish, and meat, and they grew their own vegetables for the dishes. We dream of coming back here again. Thank you for everything, Massimo ❤️

Offering an indoor pool, Hotel Casa Nicola is located in Succhivo 1 km from Sant'Angelo on the island of Ischia, a 5-minute walk from the Tyrrhenian Sea. Free WiFi is available in public areas. Room was excellent; excellent mattress; ample shelving and drawers; perfect climate control with heat pump; just right bathroom with good shelving. Breakfast was more than ample; hostess/owner was personable, gracious and helpful. Hot pool/Roman bath was an unexpected treat. Perfectly located 30 feet from a bus stop and easily walkable to Sant’Angelo.
