We received a warm welcome from two wonderful ladies at Reception (Barbara and Mary) who explained everything about the property and gave us a tour. The setting is part of a restored 19th century farm with gardens, orchards, an Enchanted Garden, two stunning outdoor pools - everything designed for total comfort and relaxation in the Sicilian countryside. We stayed 3 nights to explore Siracusa/Ortigia, nearby towns and beautiful beaches. They grow their own organic produce which is served in the restaurant. The room was beautiful, especially the bathroom with Sicilian tiles. We enjoyed our own private patio facing a garden with citrus trees and flowering shrubs. A delightful way to start the day with a morning coffee and end it with a glass of local wine before a delicious Sicilian dinner in their restaurant. The breakfast buffet was exceptional including custom made omelettes and a table full of freshly baked breads and sweets. We loved our visit and could have stayed a week.

LA MAIOLICA is set on the seafront in Pozzallo, 100 metres from Spiaggia Pietre Nere and 30 km from Cattedrale di Noto. A hot tub is available for guests. It is possible for guests to sit outside and enjoy the property grounds. The location was great. The room is beautiful and recently upgraded. It was very clean. Everything worked very well in the room. The owner was very accomodating. The people in Pozzallo are very nice. The beach was steps away and very beautiful.

We loved everything about this accommodation. We’ve been to Italy many times and travelled across Sicily too and this is one of the best places we’ve ever had. The property is new and the owners put a lot of work in to keeping the standards high. Sebastiano is out cleaning the beautiful pool area every morning while you enjoy fresh locally sourced food for breakfast. The team of polite and friendly ladies make sure breakfast is how you like it and then begin cleaning the rooms afterwards, they do a great job. Sebastiano gave me his phone number and told me to contact him any time for help, when I asked him for a corkscrew he was there in minutes! I never leave reviews but felt that Villa Carmiano deserves it, we had a fantastic week.

Attention to detail in everything they do and they treat their guests like family. A very intimate feeling with only a few cabins in the resort. We spent the best weekend in the middle of nature and had the opportunity to experience a very intimate dining experience in the ‘Botania’ with only fresh ingredients found in the resort. We would like to thank Rosario, Vincenzo and their families for an amazing stay☺️ we will be back!

And a delicious breakfast, even more amazing that when I had to check out extra early Luisa even kindly prepared me something warm before I left, even though it was so early! It was very much appreciated. Many recommendations of dining in the surrounding areas. And a treck at the end of the street for a walk in nature. Thank you Luisa for having me.

They even had prepared for us a bow of fresh fruits and refreshment drinks with a message on our own (cyrilic alphabet) language ♡ The View was awesome, and having dinner on the terrace was so romantik. The apartment was big , meeting our needs for both private and common space. Secure parking was available, all needed utilities in the apartment. Strongly recommended!
