Also the staff was very poliet and professional. The services they had was very professional. Facilities like private onsen was very useful since we were shy to go for the public ones. The staff was excellent, kind and helpful at all times, rooms were clean and tidy, ours had an amazing view of the lake. You can use most of the facilities for free with some additional ones having a fee. We chose the included dinner and breakfast option, dinner was an amazing experience full of flavors and textures we were not used but definitely liked. Breakfast was pretty good, buffet style, but with both Japanese and western options. In terms of location, I think it’s really good depending on what you want to visit. It is just in front of the lake, and has the red line (i think) bus stop right in front of it, which we used to get there from the train station and to get to other tourist spots around the lake. There’s a lawson just outside, the boat ride in the lake and the panoramic ropeway are also just a few minutes walk away which was very convenient.

Near Lake Kawaguchi and Mt. Fuji. Fabulous zen like modern place. Wood furnishings and even a heated floor for the cooler days and nights. Excellent heating system. Rain shower. Private deep ofuro - Japanese style bath tub in your own outdoor walled off courtyard with seating are looking out on your private garden. We stayed in a Mt room (Mt. 6) but I think all the mountainside rooms would be similar. Amenities include pajamas, lounge wear, Uniqlo warm insulated rain coats (when it’s cold), rubber clogs (like crocs) to wear outside. In room modern coffee grinder and kettle. Amazing and full breakfast brought to your room. This place has its own winery. Very peaceful and relaxing here even if Mt Fuji view areas are crowded with tour buses. We highly recommend.
