Walkway with roof directly connects to the train station. Quiet neighborhood. - There are several restaurants in the building. We tried 3 of them and all are very good. - 7Eleven next to building. - Neighborhood coin laundry 7 minute walk away. - Decent sized room, very clean. Comfy beds. Clean bathroom with bathtub. - Breakfast is really good. There were a lot of choices and great quality. We enjoyed the breakfast very much! - The staffs were very friendly and helpful, always with smiles.

There are 2 indoor hot springs baths and an open-air bath at the property. The hostel was fantastic. We rented a tatami room, which was spotless, very comfortable and with a really nice view. The onsen was amazing, we absolutely loved it. Everything was clean, there were snacks, eggs to boil in the onsens in town and all cooking and serving tools to eat them afterwards. The bathrooms were incredibly clean. This was our favourite stay along the Kumano Kodo, despite being the cheapest.

Bathroom facilities are shared, and the public baths are open 16:00-22:00 and 06:00-09:00 daily. I really loved the ajinkan meditation and how the monk was kind and cheerful and pleasant. It was such a nice experience to learn something new and to have such a pleasant person that you can ask about meditation. It was so nice! The dinner was really fantastic and I was most pleasantly surprised how warm the room was because it was cold season.

We loooved the Panasonic steamer in the room. It was also very nice gesture to provide me with birthday cake and wishes, I really appreciate it.
