The property is situated 1.3 km from Shoren-in Temple, 2 km from Kiyomizu-dera Temple and 2 km from Kyoto International Manga Museum. The hotel features a hot tub, room service and free WiFi throughout the property. Location was ideal. Right in the heart of Gion near restaurants and train stations. A short walk to the main shopping precinct and Nishiki Market. Very friendly staff. The chocolate shop a couple doors down is very good!

The hosts always made sure we had mineral water in our room, and new towels everyday, even if we never asked for it.
