The staff were incredibly attentive, at times it felt like they intuitively knew what we needed before we even asked. Their warmth and hospitality made the experience unforgettable, though we did notice that communication in english could be improved slightly. The beach is beautiful and peaceful, with great amenities and stunning views. However, due to broken coral in some areas, it's not ideal for swimming right in front of the resort. They do provide sea shoes, which are really helpful. Just a short 100 meter walk along the shore brings you to clearer, safer spots perfect for a dip. The massages at the spa were excellent and the poolside drinks were among the best we've ever had.

A splendid outdoor pool resides between the beach and Amaya Beach Passikudah, a resort offering spacious rooms and suites with private balconies and free WiFi. A spa, fitness centre and restaurant are available. Can't explain. We enjoyed every moment. Nice isolated place to get relax. Enjoyed a lot. I hope that will visit again Sri Lanka and Amaya.

Sunrise Pasikuda offers a hot tub. Just an absolute tropical dream. The hotel is very beautiful and feels very relaxed to be in. The spaces are thoughtful and there are lots of places to lounge and relax so you feel like you are on a private retreat even with other guests. Our favourite part was the loungers under big beautiful native trees on the beach. They are tucked under trees but right on the water so you can swim in the ocean and then lay in the shade and drink mango juice 👌 their spot on the beach is also more peaceful and secluded than some of the other resorts. The staff were very generous and kind! We are vegan and their chef catered easily for us. They also just made the most heavenly dishes - their buffets (breakfast and dinner) are 10/10 the food was so good. We can't rate it high enough - it was a surprise favourite stop for us on our trip! Very peaceful and just what we needed.

The cook was wonderful, we got different brilliant dishes every day. The resort area is huge and well maintained.
