It's located far enough from the city center to be quiet but still close enough that it's a quick ride into town, or a quick(ish) walk. There was an excellent breakfast, and the owners were super-helpful about where to go and what to do in Colombo and beyond.

Every aspect of the building name GRAND shows its grandeour and the apartment was also well maintained and had all the amenities. One of the highlights of our stay was undoubtedly the food. Every meal was a culinary delight, with dishes that catered perfectly to our taste buds. Whether it was breakfast, lunch, or dinner, the quality and flavor of the food consistently impressed us. During our stay, we enjoyed two cruises each day through the picturesque Bolgoda waterways. The early morning cruise was particularly breathtaking as we were greeted by the serene beauty of nature waking up. We spotted numerous birds and even got a glimpse of the stunning sunrise. The sunset cruise, on the other hand, provided a different yet equally mesmerizing experience as we sailed through the calm waters with the sky painted in shades of orange and pink. The entire experience was beyond our expectations, and if given the chance, we would gladly stay here 100 times over. Houseboats by DAE in Bolgoda is a gem, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and unforgettable stay

We loved the stunning views of Colombo! It was equipped with everything needed, the location was perfect, the security was very good and access to the apartment was very easy. The communication with the host (Noel) was very smooth. We had a great time at the pool as well. Hoping to stay here again next time we visit Sri Lanka.
