We had a wonderful stay at SGA for Pets Lover! Prashant is incredibly kind and helpful—his availability and hospitality made all the difference during our stay. What truly makes this place special is his amazing project to rescue stray dogs and cats, especially females. You’ll find many sweet animals around the property, and for us, that was the best part. It’s clear how proud Prashant is of what he’s doing, and we were proud to support him too. The guesthouse is just a 5-minute walk from the beach and about 15 minutes from Trincomalee—super convenient. The shower had hot water with great pressure, the room was clean, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. What else can I say? If you love animals, this is the place for you. Right next door you’ll find Mom’s Kitchen, their family restaurant—probably the best and most affordable food in Uppuveli. Don’t miss the Rice & Curry buffet!

It was quiet whilst we stayed here which suited us , the room we had was delightful (upgrade given) . The view over the lagoon was amazing . We sat outside for breakfast over looking the lagoon a very special view.

After 9 days of touring, Heavenly Hideaway was exactly what we needed. We were warmly welcomed and shown around the property, which is beautifully decorated and exceptionally well equipped. From beach towels and toiletries to a washing machine with powder—everything was thoughtfully provided, which was perfect for refreshing clothes after travelling. The apartment’s terrace was absolutely gorgeous, with a stunning ocean view. We especially loved the rooftop hot tub, where we enjoyed sunsets in total relaxation. The pool was a lovely temperature, with plenty of shaded spots, and the hosts were super friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We didn’t leave the area during our 3-night stay—there are fantastic beach bars and a stunning Italian restaurant just steps away. It’s also an ideal base for snorkelling trips to Pigeon Island or Angel Rock. The sea is crystal clear, and the sand is soft and white—a true tropical paradise. The whole experience was the perfect end to our amazing holiday. I could have stayed far longer and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful, luxurious beach escape.

Staying at Rory's penthouse apartment was kind of dream coming true. The views from the balcony and rooftop jacuzzi were unreal. The interior was elegant, with very high attention to detail. Everything was exactly as in the pictures. The kitchen was shopisticated with all possible utensils, porcelains, and cutlery. We loved every bit of four day stay here.

Facility is in the first floor that's owned by a Tamil family ... guest house had the basic amenities with the exception of cloth hangar. Guest house owner is well-versed in English that comes from his rich experience working with various UN agencies. Location is close to the main road but still quite silent ... the nearest bus stop is walkable to take buses from/to the main town and to the nearby locations, like, the Marble beach. In fact, one can take the small gullies to go to the railway station though it can get bit difficult during rainy days and in the evenings.
