Built with wooden materials, Royal Island’s villas feature a private patio with sitting area and views of the Indian Ocean. Each room has a TV and an en suite bathroom with a bathtub and shower. The hotel is quite old, but it is clean, stuff is great, food is wonderful! The reef is really great, saw there a lot of sharks, turtles, rays, thousands of different fishes and even dolphins came two times right to the edge of reef in front of our villa. The sunset villa is the best location, because there is the best beach and the most interesting part of the reef. Definitely recommend. May be it is not a modern hotel, but alll the rest is great.

The Villa very comfortable with great space. You have 2 beach chairs at the beach exclusive for you.
One peculiar thing is the bathroom that do not have air conditioning. There is a small garden on it and part of the celling is open. Is different, but for us worked well.
Just a reminder to always ask to the room staff to fumigate every day to avoid insects. The breakfast is amazing. All kind of good food.
We have a huge variety of food: breads, cheeses, juices, yogurts, sweets, hot dishes, cold dishes, etc. A balcony where you can order fresh omelets, pancakes, waffles, etc. The structure is great, there several restaurants, bars, activities (jet ski, kayak, snorkel, etc), fitness center, etc.
The staff is outstanding, all employees polite and always ready to assist you.
When you arrive, a concierge is assigned to you. Through the whataspp, you can ask him all type of requests: book activities, restaurant reservation, or any kind of request you need/want. They will do everything to assist you. Our concierge was Saadin. Very polite and competent. He definitely maximize our experience in Jawakara resort.
There is some videos on the internet showing the Jawakara facilities, you can trust on these videos. If you go to Maldives, you can choose Jawakara. You won’t regreat.

In restaurant Raha we find friends Chef Prasad, supervisor Soban and manager Vineet. Our host was Mustafa is a wonderful person. In restaurant bar we met Elton, Chandimai and Adeli who are really special people with great cocktails 🥳 Its like we spend our holiday in a place you just feel comfortable, special and welcomed. For sure i will recommend to anyone to come over and myself i will do it again.
