This was my 4th stay at Ala Residencia. They have the absolute best staff that greets you at the door. Amazing location and rooms are spotless. Amazing views from the rooftop and great location.

Friendly staff. Spacious rooms. Care taken for design and architecture. Relaxing atmosphere with daily yoga, library and free bicycles. Location is quiet spot close to center square. The hosts provided many information before our arrival and waited for us even though we arrived late. The villa itself is beautiful, big, modern and has everything that we needed. We strongly recommend renting it and it’s a pitty we didn’t get to stay there longer!

The place was spacious and 5he bed was so comfortable. The location was a very easy walk to the mall and like 10 minute drive to airport. AC units worked really great. Good decor and set up. Easy access. The soaps and shampoos provided smelled amazing!

There were so many things to like about this property. We visited for our honeymoon and it was a perfect spot to experience Bacalar, We rented the room that is directly above the dock and next to the restaurant and it was a great location. We walked right out of our room into the restaurant area and out onto the dock. Our private balcony had a fantastic view so we spent a lot of time up there when we weren’t in the water. The only downside to this location is that at night the restaurant got a little bit loud on the weekend, during the week, it was quiet by 10 PM, which was perfectly fine by us. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. My Spanish isn’t great, but they were very patient with me at the restaurant as I often struggled a little to translate things - despite that everything always came out perfect. The pool area was beautiful but we never used it personally. We estimated it took about 10 to 12 minutes from the resort to the main road and then another five into town. We went to town every day that we were there and back and had a great time. Special thanks to the restaurant servers and to Blanca at the front desk for being so sweet and helpful!
