The home was even more lovely and larger than expected. We didn’t end up using the BBQ hut but it was a really cool, cozy space. Right down the street from the 24/7 market. Hosts were very responsive and kind.

We were amazed by the size of the place, we thought it would be cramp with 5 rooms but it did not feel cramp at all for the 5 of us. The house has all the utensils you need to cook, do note the fridge does not have a freezer but no issue for us as we were there during winter. Unfortunately we only saw the northern lights for a few minutes during our 3 nights stay and a very weak one too, due to cloudy skies, low solar wind and bright moon. Nonetheless the surrounding area was beautiful and we had the balcony to look out to the opposite side Katherine was very hospitable and responsive. She took great pride in decorating her place with all the Christmas decoration, lighted fireplace, candle light to welcome us. Definitely a place to book!

Location was good and what a view. 😍 There was a small harbour for fisher men and nice sandy beach only 500 meters away. Kitchen was well equipped. Almost all you needed and extrabonus was wood goal grill on the big terrace. Terrace was great, nice furniture got usage while our stay - sun was shining all day (and night) ☀️ Nearest shop was about 7 km away. Location was also good for our purposes - avoiding grouded places. Good loction for longer stay and making day trips around the Island. In the area are no services like bars or cafes etc. After a four night stay even locals Rose their hand passing by. Sauna on on request on another building. Bedrooms were ok and linen, pillows and blankets very good. This cottage was also a good place for remote work. Quiet and good WiFi. We liked this place a lot! Thanks for very nice Kristin for arrangements and relaxed attitude for sauna missunderstanding. 😂👍

Hamn i Senja is located in Hamn where there is a great possibility to watch The Northern Lights or the midnight sun. Free WiFi access is available. Wow what a place the view is out of this work one of …really special and the rooms are beautifully designed , breakfast was very rich. Tomas at the reception was wonderful helping us with many requests always friendly and welcoming

Mefjord Brygge is surrounded by mountains in the picturesque fishing village of Mefjordvær on Senja Island. Everything was perfect. wonderful place.

The property is at a great location, surrounded by beautiful mountains. The rooms are newly built and are super clean. The staff is very friendly. The breakfast next morning was amazing! If you are planning to catch a ferry next day from Gryllefjord to Andenes, this is a perfect stop over as it’s just 10 minutes drive to the ferry terminal.

And the place have such great view, more peaceful than around ferry ans only 15mins away from the ferry with awesome view on the way up the mountain to reach this place initially. Would rather stay here than around the ferry next time. Too bad we went too early to the ferry and miss the breakfast here at 7am, turnsout we can have breakfasy first then reach the ferry at about 8.30 to 9 is fine. Tho this is august 20-29 where the midnight sun is over. Best part is theres free parking at our room!
