Stunning property and exceptionally clean, wonderful friendly staff who went out of their way to help! Erick at the beach club and Carlos at the restaurant were exceptional! Every person working at Buenaventura felt like a friend and were so kind and I can’t imagine any complaints about this hotel or staff!!! The hotel was very quiet right after the protests, so can’t imagine how difficult it is to deliver such quality when the workers are still working to move back to the area, but every meal was exceptional and every staff member was fantastic. We loved the choice for restaurants, pools, even great room service. The hotel shuttle took us many places and the amenities in the Buenaventura community were wonderful. The zoo was incredible! We expected only a few animals but it had so much! The onsite deli/coffee bar/ grocery and convenience store were great. The food was very reasonably priced. We traveled with a 6 and a 14 year old and will be back!!

Set on the Riviera Pacifica of Panamá, Gran Evenia Bijao features 4 outdoor swimming pools, a private beach, 4 restaurants, 3 bars, a disco, kids and teens lounge, and a complete Spa. I liked the variety of dining offered, dishes available and the property being truly all-inclusive, the employees were very professional and accommodating to guest. Great customer service!!. I will definitely recommend this property to friends and colleagues.

We arrived at 12h30 and immediately were invited to check-in (no queues), we were told room access could only be given at 15h, but we could start using the resort facilities, including lunch. The pools are great and our daughter loved the tobogan ones (only for children taller than 110cm). The food was always great and during the afternoon there was a taco bar which was amazing. Drinks available everywhere. Beach access right after the big pool. Lots of lifeguards and care for the children's safety. Night show for children and kids club with very nice ladies playing with them.
