Tropical Suites Hotel is an oceanfront boutique property located in the heart of Bocas del Toro, Panama. Our room was excellent. Large, comfortable, even equipped with a kitchen and utensils. It had a nice view of the city. We had no problems with noise, even though we were pretty much in the city center. Everything is a quick walk away, and there are multiple boat terminals nearby. This is pretty much the only place with a pool, so it has a bit advantage there. In other places we've stayed at we don't have much to do if there are a couple hours to space, but here we can go chill near the pool, recharge, or have a drink or snack. The food in the restaurant is truly excellent. Even the included breakfast is really exceptional. The service is good, and even if this is one of the pricier places around, it's still cheap and an amazing value.

David was a super host; very friendly and helpful. Large room with an amazing view and a big comfortable bed. Shared kitchen facilities really useful. Nice being outside the main town and close to real Panamanian people.
