Island World Panglao is situated in Panglao, within 800 metres of Alona Beach. Boasting an outdoor swimming pool, this property is set near attractions such as Danao Beach. Each room is fitted with a terrace with pool views. The houses are very comfortable overlooking the huge pool. Very quiet and peaceful. Food was good. The free rides to/from town is a huge bonus also the free transport to/ from airport. We had a late flight and they let us stay by the pool after check out. They offer great massages.

The resort is just amazing! We were staying at the small part of the resort (sunset) which was just gorgous and relaxing! The reef right in front of the hotel is amazing with corals, all kind of fish and turtles. All stuff is super kind and lets no wish open, especially Adonis' Cocktails at the pool bar are one of the best we ever had - thanks again!!

Fitted with a desk and wardrobe, the air-conditioned guestrooms are equipped with a personal safe and a flat-screen TV with cable channels. En suite bathrooms come with a hairdryer and offer hot or cold shower facilities. The area was quiet and calm with plenty of places to walk.. we had the opportunity to see a gorgeous sunrise, and it was great to be so close the beach. It was easy to switch between the sea and the pool depending on our mood.The main shopping area is a 7 minute walk, which was fine with us as it meant we were away from the louder areas. there were still plenty of places to eat on our side of the beach if you walked up and down the walkway or on the way to the mall. The staff was also cheerful, helpful, and very accommodating, even when we requested to hang around after check out due to a late flight. You'll see some dislikes below, but it's me nitpicking and suggesting ways in can be better. Overall, the place was lovely if you're looking for a quiet and relaxing time!

The Mayana Resort has an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a shared lounge and restaurant in Dauis. This 3-star hotel offers room service, a concierge service and free WiFi. Guests can use the hot tub, or enjoy pool views. Being a couple, we found this resort fantastic! We stayed 4 nights here and used it as a base to explore Panglao and Bohol. From the moment of check-in, to the moment of check-out, everything was great. Even before we arrived, the communication from Mayana was fantastic over the booking app, and they were very responsive to all queries we had. We used the air conditioned van option to get to the resort from the Tagbilaran Port (30 mins drive), and were greeted with a welcome drink and room briefing. We ate in the restaurant three of the nights, as it was very handy after coming in late and having driven a lot on the bike. Each night the food was good. The Osterich dishes are unusual, and I enjoyed the burger Option. My girlfriend is vegetarian, so we really appreciated that the chef was able to make her a veggie curry one of the nights. The breakfast was great each morning. You get a choice between an American breakfast, pancakes, omelette, Filipino breakfast. The staff were really accommodating in trying their best to get you any specific options/extras that weren’t on the menu. For instance, they made poached eggs for me one morning, though not on the menu 😊 We rented a good scooter from here also and had a great time! I read the reviews mentioning the pool being ‘murky’ or ‘unclean’, but honestly we thought the pool was fab! - not only was it a nice size nd design, but it was the first pool in the Philippines we have had that has part just 5ft deep, but the deep part is actually deep and over your head at 7ft. We loved that, so it caters for every type of guest. The rooms are modern and spacious, as are the bathrooms. The bed is really comfy which is really important! The A/C is great and the rooms have tinted glass for privacy which was a nice touch. The safe is big enough to put a laptop in when you are out and about, and the balcony and little table and chairs on it are great with a lovely view over the pool. The staff are all so nice.

Featuring a restaurant, the 4-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private bathroom. The accommodation features room service, a concierge service and currency exchange for guests. Service is excellent, the staff made us feel personally taken care of during the entire stay:) Executive room is superb with the large private pool and we were able to enjoy Netflix. I like the use of phone provided in the room for communication with the front desk. Floating breakfast has been perfectly prepared. If you join any day tour and activities via the suites, they are also well organised for the guests!

At the lodge guests are welcome to take advantage of a hot tub. The room was amazing. The hammock is great. The food was really good and fairly priced. There were fireflies! Super cool place to stay if you’re looking for a secluded break from the hustle and bustle.

Free WiFi is available throughout the property. Beautiful property. Exceptional staff. The staff truly made our stay a one of a kind memory. The smiles on their faces were so genuine. We traveled with our 3 little kids and everyone was so kind looking after our kids and making sure we were all taken care of. This is one of the best resorts we have ever stayed at. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The breakfast is amazing and there is something for everyone. The sunsets from the infinity pool are breathtaking. We loved it so much that we extended our stay. This is one property I would definitely return to. If you are on Boracay this property is a must.

The food is exceptional, I recommend the spicy garlic prawns, the chef is really talented. The service is of a very good level. The atmosphere is calm, very pleasant, a stone's throw from Alona beach, you have all the advantages without the downside. I recommend without hesitation!
