Our airconditioning failed with was notable at the reception, directly the staff knocked out our door to fix it. Quality bedding and clean. Nice rooms. All rooms have special names with dedicated sweet referred to the room type. 15 minutes walk time downtown.

The air-conditioned rooms at Pousada Mosteiro do Crato have a private balcony, cable TV, a minibar, and an en suite bathroom. All rooms are decorated with warm colours and dark wooden furniture. The staff was amazing and very welcoming, helping with the bags and getting us settled in our rooms and explaining how everything worked. Dinner here was excellent as was the buffet breakfast the next day.

The accommodation is newly done and to a very high standard. It's well-equipped and comfortable, with nice outside spaces. Plenty of parking. The pool is large and the sauna and jacuzzi are lovely. Fantastic views and a tranquil setting. The hostess is attentive and charming, and delivers a delicious breakfast to the patio. The home made products and fruit from the garden are delicious. All in all, a very pleasant stay.

An amazing location and example of how to enhance and restore the history and culture of the area. Rooms in the main building were large and bed comfortable. Fortunately we received an upgrade which made the stay even more enjoyable. The spa area of wet and dry sauna and jacuzzi looked out over the landscape and were a warm welcome after the day exploring the area. The buffet style breakfast was great. One of the best Vila Gale locations I have stayed in. The ability to wander around the location and experience the falconry, horses and talk with the students makes you appreciate the location even more. We will return!
