Just 4.5 km from the centre of Maribor, the family-run Motel Lesnik offers a spa area and a miniature golf course. Free WiFi and wired internet is available in all rooms. Evetything was clean, the room was beautiful and spacious. The breakfast was heavenly, with home made juice, pickles, salad from own garden, and locally sourced free range eggs. The home made cakes were also delicious! The staff is very friendly and welcoming, always smiling. On the property there is a mini golf course and a big playground. There is also enough parking spaces. This was a already our third stay here and we will definitely come back next year!

The accommodations spoke of care and forethought: with two queen beds, a kitchenette, livingroom, and all the essentials. They've even converted an adjoining space into a spa, with hot tub and sauna. Every space has its own terrace, including a third in the common area. What I found most exceptional ids that the hosts engage in other productive ventures which compliment their offering: making their own wine, pasta, meats, and an assortment of prepared foods. Taking all that in, amidst the crisp hills of Slovenia made our trip an exceptional and relaxing retreat at Apartment Teja.

Featuring a casino, two restaurants, a spa centre and a wine bar, Mond, Resort & Entertainment is located 2 km from the Šentilj border crossing and 16 km from the centre of Maribor. Great breakfast, super nice staff and very good price. I can only recommend it, the small spa was also very good :)

Located in Miklavž, about 9 km from the centre of Maribor, Apartments Akacijev Izvir offers free bikes, free WiFi access. The ski resort of Mariborsko Pohorje is 11 km away. Amazing place and great host. We arrived to welcome drink and some local meats and desserts to try which was not expected but very very nice. It was just what we needed after a long drive. It is close to the motorway so a perfect place to stop. Will definitely be back.
