They were also happy to help me get to the chilled city area too, at the same cost as a typical Thai taxi app. Airport pick-up and drop-off was hassle-free. There's authentic street-food a short walk downhill, and a café with heavenly views just uphill. I live in Bangkok full-time, and Bura Resort in Chiang Rai is my new escape! Can't wait to return. Very highly recommended.
