Kilimanjaro Eco Lodge fit the bill perfectly. Edith, the owner and host, saw to our every comfort and need. Our rooms were well-appointed, clean, and spacious. Meals were served home style and delicious. We enjoyed having tea and soda in the outdoor bar each evening. Edith has literally built the property and gardens with her own two hands and her pride shows and it is well justified. The views of Mt. Meru are as memorable as the warm welcome you receive from Edith and her staff. Give Kilimanjaro Eco Lodge a try if you are staying near Arusha before or after a safari.
