It’s perfectly located - within walking distance of the beach — and everything you need is nearby (stores, restaurants, etc.). The staff is absolutely incredible! They’re always friendly and make sure you’re comfortable. They’re also available for anything you need and will go above and beyond to assist you. The hotel is very safe, and we felt secure throughout our stay. A big shoutout to the Casa Dantes staff for making our visit so warm and memorable. The food is delicious, and they offer a variety of breakfast options each day, so you’re never eating the same thing. I would definitely recommend staying at Casa Dantes when visiting Nungwi, Zanzibar.

Beautiful quiet hotel located 8 mins from a small beach and 12 mins from a larger one. The premises are amazing with comfortable spacious rooms, a beautiful garden and pool. The staff and owners are lovely and can recommend/organize almost anything. The biggest surprise for us was the food - we've been to other places in Zanzibar, this was hands down the best we ate.

Our stay was unforgettable! The service was beyond anything we’ve experienced, even compared to top resorts. The team created a special WhatsApp group with all the relevant staff — every request was handled immediately, sometimes even before we asked! Mr. Malay, the F&B manager, was like our personal manager — always available and never said no. Chef Adam’s food was absolutely incredible, and the views from our villa were breathtaking. Truly the best hospitality we’ve ever had. Highly recommended!

The location in Matemwe was excellent regarding the beach. The hotel is surrounded by a fishing village which adds to the quaintness. The hotel is very nice in comparison to others around and quite posh without loosing any authenticity and fits perfectly well into the surroundings. The evening entertainment exceeded expectations. Fell in love with the dawa drink.
