Beds were comfortable but I am used to a very firm mattress. So I suppose I would find most others on the soft side. The location close to the little town and shopping centres of Hazyview which has first class shops like a Woolworths Food where you can buy excellent provisions for a braai or whatever you are planning. Although Hazyview has expanded a lot over the past 30 year since Thulamela was established, this small intimate little B&B with only 6 cabins retains its character and tranquility. Penny, the owner and host is perfect as are the staff, Julia and the lady who brought us our delicious breakfast. Not a cooked breakfast but delicious.

This house is amazing and is exactly what you need after a few days at Kruger. The path to drive in is through a small forest. Very romantic. You get a comfy bed, well equipped kitchen, bbq with charcoal, fire place for the cold nights, a powerful stereo system and some free booze. We loved the design of the apartment and felt like home.

Extremely remote, quaint 21st century cabin like feel. As it’s predominantly glass, it was wonderful watching the animals (deer I believe), come and go while we had breakfast. The pictures do this place no justice, you must to go and experience it for yourself!

It was an amazing experience, room was perfect,views were magnificent, massages were amazing, we wanted to relax and that was achieved , we went back rejuvenated.

The owner truly cares about all guests at all times! As for activities there is plenty of options from spa, sauna to swimming pools and other activities on the farm.
