This is a traditional Vienna hotel in a historical building. It is situated in the busy street next to Praterstern but most of the rooms face an internal courtyard and it is very quiet there. There are shops and restaurants around. The hotel has an easy connection to the railway station (direct metro) and the airport (train). It is also quite easy to walk from there to the centre of the city. I had a single room on the second floor, there was a fridge and a kettle, to make tea or coffee. Wifi worked very well. Breakfast was served from 6.30 (really appreciated) and the choice was very good. I especially liked the cakes (with apricots and cherries), they seemed home made (if so, I would like to have a recipe as they were truly delicious). All in all, my only regret was that my stay was so short.

The room is excellent, spacious, after restoration. The location is very convenient, next to the red line metro station, convenient to get to the city center. There is a store, pharmacy, cafes and restaurants nearby. Breakfast with a variety of eco-friendly products, especially eggs with encouraging messages that lift your spirits.
