Not operating in Nov as they wind up at the end of October. We went to parap markets on Saturday morning but not as big as mindil. Lots of food choices though. Taxis are cheap enough and needed to get around in the heat.Guest review by'SueAustralia

Location is super convenient - in the centre of Darwin, easy walking distance from the Waterfront, the Esplanade, even the botanical gardens and Mindil Beach are only half an hour. Philip at reception very kindly accommodated my request for a quiet upper floor room. He was easy to communicate with via WhatsApp. When I had difficulty with my AC unit reception was right on the case giving me technical support. We enjoyed our morning coffees on the balcony in the peace and quiet watching the magnificent sunrise each morning . All of the staff were professional, efficient, warm and friendly. The inclusive breakfast each morning was a delicious bonus. Both pools are an amazing way to chill out and take in the spectacular sunsets all while enjoying a refreshing cocktail. Car parking was convenient and free. Welcome drinks and the rooftop bar were appreciated. The pool was lovely. Easy walk to the city if you didn't have a car.
