Location is great, everything is within walking distance. Our room was spacious and clean and the staff was friendly. Drinkable water refill was available on each floor. Two cold water dispensers with fruit fragrance near the check-in desk was a nice touch.

Hotel reception, doormen, and house keepers are all exceptionally kind and familiar. Even when the reception was busy with other gueats checking in/out, I didn't feel ignored. Doorman was constantly watching who was coming in/ out which made me feel very safe. The receptionist was constantly paying attention to all surroundings too. House keeper, Katie, remembers all her guests by names, and on my last day at the hotel, she greeted me in my mother language, Japanese. This had never happed to me in any country/ hotel before. In addition, hotel room was vast for one guest. My room consisted of seperate living/ bed rooms with superb view of downtown! I shall stay Le Soleil again next year!

All the tourists go there but it has gone downhill due to covid store closures and large homeless crisis (close to East Hastings Street -avoid) .saying that, they are going to make this a car free, pedestrian area this summer so it might improve

Worth a visit to see the Steam Clock in action, lovely shops and nice to stroll around. There are quite a number of homeless people in this area and we were advised by our tour guide which streets (area) to avoid and to stay together. Main street was fine and lots of people around.

I had a great time at The Cambie Hostel Gastown. The staff were so thoughtful and kind, always ready to help. The kitchen was clean, well equipped and perfect for cooking my own meals. The location couldn’t be better, right in the heart of Gastown and Waterfront. Highly recommend!

The apartment has a fantastic view of the city, particularly stunning at sunset. The living room portion of the open kitchen, lkiving, dining areas is well layed out with a super comfortable sofa. Sheets were of very good quality. The area is near to the lovely paved Water Street in Gastown, which has great restaurants, bars and venues. There's a cool bar with various pinball and games a few doors away that our teen loved and a good comedy store a couple of streets away.

Great location in English Bay, near restaurants, shops, coffee, supermarket, beach, photo opportunities. From the Sands, we walked to Granville Market and rented bikes just over the road to explore Stanley Park and False Creek. We even walked from The Sands to Gastown. This place was more affordable than many other downtown Vancouver hotels

Great location in downtown- walking distance to most of the attractions. 1- English bay and second beach which is the perfect location for sunset viewing; 2- the dock to take water taxi to Grandville island; 3- Stanley park and the street with bicycle rental shops; 4- free shuttle bus pick up location to Capilano park. Lots of restaurants, cafes and convenient shops nearby. Gastown, Chinatown are a bit further away, but still walkable. The hostel is clean, with friendly and helpful staffs. Simple breakfast is provided

I loved this apartment! The location is amazing — right in downtown Vancouver, in a safe area close to shops, Gastown, and the train station. The place is beautiful and fully equipped with everything we needed, from kitchen essentials to laundry supplies. We only had to buy our food. Highly recommend!

The location is great because it's close to Gastown shops and restaurants. Size of the apartment is pretty good as well. Pretty cheap parking is also near by. Host is very responsive though and also gave us free detergent to wash clothes.

Incredible room with amazing views across the harbour. Lovely big spacious room and big comfy bed. I felt very safe in this hotel and area travelling alone. I walked around on a night and felt very safe. This hotel is in a great area close to Gastown and Coal Harbour and minutes from Stanley Park. Everything was exceptional and I will return for sure.

Apartment was huge, clean, with absolutely stunning views. Perfect for family with lots of separate spaces to hang out. The balcony and bath tub overlooking the city were bonuses. Premium double garage. Had been a little reluctant to book as the property only had 2 reviews at the time, however, very glad we did, it exceeded expectations. Good value, in the heart of Gastown.
