To start: Helen is an amazing host! Very friendly and super helpful. She even welcomed us with some tasty fruit and juice. As for the accommodation, the rooms are very clean and beds are comfy. Highly recommended!

The rooms are very comfortable and the service is exceptional. We were well looked after from the minute we got there until the minute we left. You can organise tours and massage, nothing is too much hassle. The owner Xiao Ming is so kind and helpful. It really feels like a home away from home, definitely worth visiting

Wow! The staff here is very friendly. She loved telling us about all the best local spots. You can really feel the warmth of her service. On our first night there, we didn't want to go out because we were tired after a long day of travel so the staff showed us a demonstration of pouring Chinese tea using the artistic tea set they have. She also gave us some local Chinese desserts so that we could enjoy a quiet night drinking tea and chatting. A very personal experience.

    The hotel is near the central railway station and a short walk from Elephant Trunk Hill and the lakes, so it is a really convenient base. Plus you have a view of the river which is also nice. The room is not too fancy, but it is spacious and comfortable. David was helpful, he can help you with the logistics of your stay. Food was also nice. If I come back to Guilin, I know where to stay!

    David was an incredibly welcoming host, going out of his way to help with making taxi/daytrip bookings and offering recommendations on local spots to visit. The view over the river was great and could also be enjoyed whilst eating delicious dumplings downstairs! Location is also a bonus, just a short walk to Elephant Trunk Hill.

    Very friendly hotel staff that speak English quite well. They got me a taxi to the Longsheng Rice fields. I spent one night here and then left, leaving my big bag, returned the day after and got a room upgrade. The hotel is close to Elephant Trunk Hill and a popular shopping street. Felt safe as a solo female traveller. Breakfast was nice as well. The first day I had to leave early and they made me breakfast to go. When I left they gave me a little pot with black tea.

    After 1 month in China this was the best Hostel yet. Good Location near the elephant Trunk Hill and a nice breakfast for a small fee. The Coffee and Beer selection was especially extraordinary. The staff helped me with booking Several Tours and showed me around the City.
