Hotels near San Luis, San Andrés

An oasis of calm and gorgeous gardens in the overly busy San Andres. Met the owner (from the U.S.) and he told us it was 30 acres. We spent an entire morning walking around looking at all the unique plants, trees and birds on the property. We drove around the entire island (nearly twice) and this was by far the nicest hotel and property. The room was lovely, with lots of windows looking out at the stunning flowering trees, quiet and private with a wrap-around deck and hammock, and big interesting bathroom. Solar panels on roof, hot water in shower. Finally room for our suitcases, and a safe for valuables. Really liked in-room fridge stocked with white and red wine, beer, pop, water and snacks. What you used was added on at end. Made it easy to enjoy a glass of wine on the deck, at sunset, while relaxing. Wonderful, attentive and helpful staff eager to please - from concierge who greeted us at the airport (Johann) who was willing to organize anything for us including a side-by-side rental, the driver, front desk staff, restaurant manager, chef, cleaning staff, and owner himself, who happened to arrive while we were there. Personalized service extraordinaire. As the island was too busy for our liking, we spent a lot of time relaxing by the lovely quiet pool, reading, watching the birds. Sunset visible right from the hotel, ocean edge right across the road. Felt very safe, discreet fencing all around.

Relaxed and friendly atmosphere, excellent food, and friendly service. The location was perfect for Scuba, exploring the island by walking, cycling and with a “buggy” . The family running the place have kept it in very good condition. They also helped us to sort out any problems.

We arrived at Casa de las Flores last minute, because we missed our plane for Providencia. Casa de las Flores was a good choice on San Andres island. It is a bit further away from the city center, but you can easily get there (20 min drive). It is nice & calm and we had our "private" beach in front of the house! Nice swimming pool. We paid extra to have a double room with sea view; but this was worth it. The owner speaks French and gave us lots of tips to visit the island.

Beautiful location, amazing view to the beach, great facilities and and food. Loved the fact that you can take the bikes and explore the island.

The uses of 3 different hotels. Breakfast included was a nice touch.
