We were very happy to stay at this lovely small hotel with a beautiful garden and friendly hosts 🌸 The spacious, well-kept garden is wonderful, with funny rabbits freely hopping around🥰 Everything is very clean, and the breakfast and dinner were delicious. We knew Poas Volcano Lodge would be a nice place, but it turned out to be much nicer than we expected. The entrance as you drive through the dairy farm is lovely, and the hotel's grounds are much bigger than I thought. We stayed in the main building and found the style and the architecture very nice, incredibly spacious, very well kept. There are multiple lounge areas - the photos don't do them justice. The rooms are large, the bed really comfortable, and the view over the volcano is beautiful. We had dinner on site which was ok - like a nice homely meal - and then enjoyed a few glasses of wine by the fire on one of their many couches. Overall, we were quite surprised and delighted by how lovely our stay was. If you're looking for a place that's cute, cozy, but of a high standard then this is it.

One of the best hotels in the area to both relax and be close to La Poas vulcano. The surrounding area is very beautiful, hotel has 2 view points on its terriotory (2nd is near the breakfast area), a lot of flowers and just in general well maintained lawns and decorations. The room also an interesting design that I liked. It even has de-humidifier which is very useful as it can get quite humid depending on the time of the year. I had good tasty breakfast. And seperate mention for the fluffy white dog which looks like a soft cloud and is very friendly! I have stayed for only 1 night but I think that would be a good place to relax for several nights while visiting attractions in the area.

Very nice staff who gave me two extra blanketts because of the low temperature that night. The bungalow is very simple but good enough for your needs, with fridge and kitchenutensils and coffee for free.

Interesting place, a perfect point to start a visit to the Volcano Poás, outstanding view from the room, very kind and helpful staff and very good food in the restaurant. Good prices. Little complaint: it was quite cold inside during the night.

This property is phenomenal. We had a room the size of an apartment. The bathroom had two showers a spa tub; waterfall; double vanity and space for days. The bar fridge was fully stocked the balcony had a hammock and it’s own outdoor spa and waterfall too. The property is in the middle of no where and it’s best to drive yourself. The zoo is magical. .Views are breathtaking. Room also had a fire place you need it at night it gets cold. The hummingbird feeder at every room is a beautiful touch. The staff are friendly and you feel like they are your friend.
