The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, they greeted us immediately and helped us get situated. They were able to accommodate three rooms together which made it so much easier for us to enjoy the hotel as a family. We would go back in a heartbeat. It was well located with a vehicle, the breakfast was delicious and the staff were exceptional.

    The reviews on Booking describe the hotel clearly enough. As I got a room at a very reasonable price, I was quite at peace with everything. Kind staff. Perfect location - 7-8 min on foot to Essen central station, 3 min to metro, 3 min to Philarmonieessen. It's not a place where you can enjoy the hotel itself. It is a place for a short stay.

    Great location. 10 minutes walk from Rüttenscheider Stern and Aalto Theatre. 15 minutes easy walk to Essen Central Station. Easy access to public transport. 2 good-sized bedrooms (1 queen and 1 twin). Clean and good heating. Everything needed is there on arrival (except food, but tea, coffee and UHT milk supplied). At least 3 bakeries and 2 supermarkets within 5 minutes' walk.

Large size room, modern, and in perfect order. They checked us in a couple of hours earlier by giving us another room that had become available. A small but decent gym for workout.

    Excellent location - 3 minutes walk to Essen central station using exit/entrance F - Breakfast was super !! everything you need and more and very clean and spacious eating area - food was great and bakery always fresh. What also mattered the most was the MOXY sign on the hotel - reflecting upon the facing building - made it extremely easy to identify for late/ night arrivers - so look for that !! Use exit F as you come out form Essen central station - excellent value for money !
