The rooms are really clean, and the facilities were fine for what we needed for our one night stay to visit the Uni. Breakfast offering is good with a decent choice which should satisfy most people. If you will miss watching TV, take something with you that means you can watch it such as a tablet etc as there are no TV’s in the room. The property is centrally located, within comfortable walking distance to the University and the town centre. There's also a few nearby shops, at the top of the street, including a post office and a pharmacy. The property is very well maintained and clean throughout. There are no tv's in the room but there is a full size snooker table available for guests. You do need to retire to bed earlyish (9.30/10pm) so they can lock up the castle but we found this quite Agatha Christie! The food is great and loads of it (we had dinner and breakfast).
