Have visited a few times now.
Have visited a few times now. Fabulous views of surrounding countryside and an interesting and well presented tour of the inside of the castle. The gardens are quite delightful, the cafe is friendly with great food and the lake and deer park are firm favourites of mine.Guest review bySusan DUnited Kingdom

Been to Welshpool several times over the years so knew the location well. Room had everything we needed, good distance to shops etc. inc Powis Castle. Colin was very helpful with sorting the parking and tips for the surrounding area. Close to Powis Castle. The Welshpool & Llanfair Light Railway station, was 6 minutes walk from the cottage. The church bells clearly audible from the cottage were lovely to hear. So many birds around the cottage. We enjoyed watching and listening to them.
