Didn't do the tour but queued in the rain for 20 minutes for the shop which was very poor compared to others like Glenfiddich etc. No samples (presumably using the Covid excuse) and no exhibition or information that you find in other distilleries. The coffee shop was a few doors away and of course the Talisker distillery being across the road was excellent. The Three Chimneys at Talisker is worth a visit too! It has a bunkhouse atmosphere where travellers connect in a shared lounge. You will learn about the history and legends of the Highlands, and if you are lucky, hear the Gaelic songs. There's also a common living room, and we parked outside without problems. We couldn't recommend this highly enough. Fantastic fresh cooked breakfasts, welcoming and helpful hosts, wonderful views from our room over the Loch, and Skye is just magical.
