We attended a traditional dance on Sunday night and it was fascinating -- the traditional percussion instruments throughout the performance, the colors of the traditional dress, the facial expressions that help to tell the story, and the setting in the Ubud Palace courtyard made it a wonderful experience. The accommodation was extremely clean and well maintained, and the host and his family were absolutely lovely. As someone with skin sensitivities and allergies, I am always nervous about things like dust or mould but the host went above and beyond to ensure the room was prepared to a very high standard, which I truly appreciated. The location is fantastic, just a short walk from Ubud Palace and surrounded by plenty of great restaurants and cafes. It was nice, clan and staff welcoming. It is laterale 5 min walking distante from Minkey forest and 15 min from Ubud palace and Market. On the main street there are a lot of shops and restaurants. Staff help ed me with my needs with q warm and helpful attitude. I was first in a cottage with garden view and then I was moved to another with view over the rice fields. Both were stunning.
